Contact Sheet Prints
Windows Into History
Magnum Contact Sheet Prints offer a rare window into the working processes behind some of the most iconic images in the archive. They are fascinating slices of photographic history as the contact sheet reveals the choices, experiments, and moments that shaped the final image. Each Contact Sheet Print is available in two sizes, 16 Ă— 20" or 20 Ă— 24."
Darkroom Prints
The Analog Craft
Magnum Darkroom Prints reveal how depth and layers are accentuated through the printing process, bringing each subject vividly to life. Featuring the marks and inscriptions of Magnum master printer Pablo Inirio, or, in some cases, the photographer themselves, these facsimile prints place the craft and character of the analog process at the forefront. Each print is available in an 11 Ă— 14" format.
FAQs
What are your framing options?
We offer custom frames in black or white for all of our prints. Each frame is handcrafted and made to order, built from solid wood and framing-grade plexiglass with approximately 60% UV protection. As each frame is made to order, please allow up to three additional weeks before your order is shipped when ordering a framed item.
How are the Magnum Editions limited?
The edition of 100 applies exclusively to the specific 8 Ă— 10-inch print format. Each print in this edition is copyright-stamped and accompanied by a letter of provenance. No further prints of the image may be produced or offered for sale in this format once the edition has sold out.
What are the markings on the Darkroom Prints?
These are authentic notations made by Magnum master printer Pablo Inirio, including squiggles, numbers and instructions relating to dodging, burning, exposure times and contrast grades. The prints are reproductions of original darkroom work prints, rather than the original work prints themselves.
