Description

Temperatures climbed up to +37 degrees in the capital Yakutsk, the world’s coldest city, and locals escape to a glacier in the region, called "Buluus". Thanks to dozens of metres of permafrost underneath it, the ice didn't use to melt in summer. Today only a tiny surface of ice is left in summer.
